Do you have computers for public use?
Yes.  The computers in the Reference area have access to the internet, online databases and Microsoft Office 2007 (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher) . We also have a color printer.  Fees for printing are 20 cents a page with 2 free pages per day.  Patrons are limited to 2 hours per day with a valid library card.  Without a library card, patrons are limited to 1 hour per day on the computer.  In addition, there are 3 online library catalog computers.

Do you have wireless access for my laptop?
Yes, please visit the Adult Reference Desk for instructions.

Do you have tax forms?
We receive forms and reproducible tax forms from the Federal government and the state of Connecticut. We keep the reproducible books for three years. We can also show you how to download tax forms from the Internet. Printing and copying fees are as stated above.

Can you get multiple titles of a book for my book group’s next meeting?
We are generally able to do this, provided the title is not in high demand.  Please contact the Adult Reference staff to register your book club with us and to order your books.

Do you have quiet study rooms available for public use? 
Yes, we have three study rooms available for our patrons.

Do you have a photocopier?
Yes, a black and white photocopying machine is available for 15 cents a copy.

Do you have a fax machine for the public?
Yes.  There is a $1.50 charge for the first page sent and $1 charge for each additional page.

Do you have a scanner for public use?
No, not at this time.

Can I submit a flyer to be posted on your bulletin board?
Materials may be submitted by mail or in person.  Posting depends on space needs, content and time-frame.  Only non-profit events will be considered.  Library and Berlin events are given priority.  The office staff determines what is to be posted on the bulletin board.  Smaller submissions have a greater chance of being used.  The library is not responsible for submitted materials that are not posted.
